Shift/Hours: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Saturday, 5:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Position Overview

We are currently hiring a Large Equipment Operator to work in a fabrication environment. This position is responsible for operating various metal-forming and material-handling equipment, including loading, unloading, and packaging materials for shipping. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, experience in machine operation, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various fabrication machinery, including but not limited to:
- Burn Table
- Large Plate Roll
- Overhead Crane
- Large Press Brake
- Strippit
- Plate Drill Press
- Angle Rolls
- Large Bevel Mills
• Read and interpret job specifications and blueprints to set up machines and determine material requirements
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy
• Inspect workpieces and perform minor machine maintenance
• Pull and deliver materials for production, load/unload trucks, and palletize materials
• Package materials for shipment according to company standards
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, following all safety regulations
• Promote and uphold company core values and safety culture with professionalism and integrity

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a fabrication or machine shop environment
• Proficient in operating metal fabrication equipment and related tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, perform basic math, and use handheld measuring instruments
• Forklift certification and experience operating forklifts
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Current safety training card and ability to complete company-specific safety training
• Moderate computer proficiency (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment
• Active participation in the company’s drug testing program
