Laser Operator

The Laser Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce parts and components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and modify metal and other materials. 
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine cutting requirements. 
• Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cuts. 
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser cutting equipment. 
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary. 
• Maintain a clean and organized work area. 
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. 
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. 

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in laser cutting or CNC machining is a plus. 
• Proven experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment. 
• Strong understanding of blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. 
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in work. 
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery. 
• Good communication and teamwork skills. 
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. 
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed.
