Laser Operator 1st and 2nd Shift

Description

 The purpose of a Laser Operator is to operate and maintain laser cutting machinery, in order to cut a variety of materials to a high degree of accuracy and precision. This role requires a strong understanding of the principles of laser cutting in order to ensure that all operations are carried out safely and efficiently. The Laser Operator is also responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise, as well as maintaining the laser cutting machinery to ensure maximum performance and productivity. 

 A Laser Operator is responsible for operating laser cutting, engraving, and marking machines to create products from various materials. They must have strong mechanical and technical skills, as well as a good eye for detail, in order to accurately operate the machine and achieve the desired results.  

• Set up and operate laser cutting, welding and engraving machines
• Monitor laser machines during operation
• Adjust laser speed and intensity to achieve the desired result
• Maintain and troubleshoot laser equipment
• Monitor the quality of parts produced
• Keep records of production and operation of the machines
