Laser Operator (Machinist II) $22+/hour - 2nd shift

Responsible foroperating and maintaining laser machinery for cutting, drilling, and engraving various materials

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser machinery according to specifications provided
• Create high-quality laser cut designs and products in a safe and efficient manner
• Inspect and maintain laser machines to ensure they are in good working condition
• Adjust machine settings to improve quality and efficiency of the production process
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues that arise with laser machinery
• Clean and maintain work areas, including laser machinery and equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification
• Proven experience as a Laser Operator or similar role
• Strong technical and mechanical skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and diagrams
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to work in a standing position for prolonged periods, and lift heavy materials and equipment
