SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking experienced and driven Laser Screed Operators to join our team in Dillsburg, PA.  This individual should have a minimum of two years; relevant operating experience. Work is primarily in South Central PA and surrounding areas.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Safely operates and maintains laser screed and high performance lasers


• Sets and checks grade elevations


• Screeds concrete within spec and performs above standard 


• Follows construction diagrams


• Performs pre-operations safety inspections


• Effectively communicates with site foreman to complete daily tasks in order to meet project goals 


• Travels from job site to job site when/as needed


• Works closely with other crew members; in a fast-paced environment 
  


• Ensures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids 


• Performs other labor duties as assigned by foreman or project manager
  


• Follows all company rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, etc.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 18 years of age


• Possesses a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to reach assigned job sites


• 1-2+ years of relevant operating experience
  


• Experience and knowledge of concrete construction
  


• Experience with 3D and total station set up is preferred
  


• Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including prolonged walking or standing on various terrain in a wide range of weather conditions


• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and meet necessary deadlines


• Experience with hand tools associated with the trade
  


• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
