The Role: Lateral Associate - White Collar | San Francisco, CA

We are seeking accomplished 4th to 7th year associates to join a globally recognized White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice Group in San Francisco. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated government enforcement defense cases and internal investigations for high-profile clients across industries.

Practice Focus and Expertise

The firm's White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice is a market leader in handling significant government investigations and complex litigation. The team represents corporate and individual clients in cases involving:

• Government Enforcement: Defending against investigations conducted by the DOJ, SEC, and other regulatory agencies.
• Internal Investigations: Conducting in-depth investigations to assess and address allegations of corporate misconduct.
• Regulatory Compliance: Advising on compliance with the FCPA, anti-corruption laws, securities regulations, and other legal frameworks.
• High-Stakes Litigation: Advocating in federal and state courts in matters such as fraud, antitrust, and financial crimes.

In this position, you will:

• Defend clients in government enforcement actions and regulatory investigations.
• Conduct internal investigations into complex corporate matters.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and reports, with precision and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with a team of elite attorneys to deliver tailored and innovative legal strategies.
• Represent clients in matters before regulatory agencies and during litigation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates who bring the following qualifications and attributes:

Experience and Expertise

• Class Year Eligibility: 4th to 7th year associates (law school class years 20162019) with a focus on government enforcement defense and internal investigations.

Educational Credentials

• Juris Doctor (JD): Degree from a top-tier law school with strong academic performance.
