Your Role With Us:
As a Laundry and Linen Care Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all hotel linens and laundry are meticulously cleaned, pressed, and handled with the highest level of care. This role is crucial in maintaining our hotel’s reputation for excellence, directly contributing to the overall comfort and satisfaction of our guests by providing high-quality laundry services.
Key Responsibilities:
Linen and Garment Care: Sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens and laundry according to specified procedures and hygiene standards. Apply appropriate methods to treat and remove stains from linens and garments, ensuring all items are returned in excellent condition.
Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on laundered items to ensure they meet the hotel’s cleanliness and presentation standards.
Inventory Management: Conduct weekly inventory checks to ensure adequate supplies of detergents, fabric softeners, and other laundry essentials. Reorder supplies as needed to maintain stock levels.
Equipment Maintenance: Check laundry equipment for proper functioning and report any malfunctions or repair needs to the Maintenance department.
Safety and Hygiene: Review and adhere to hygiene and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and sanitary working environment. Participate in deep cleaning of the laundry area, including machines and storage units.

Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality standards.

Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods and handle tasks requiring physical effort and agility.
