Laundry Attendant

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community currently has a wonderful opportunity to join our incredible Facility Services Team! This is a Full-Time position with excellent benefits. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.

We are seeking an individual who is friendly, compassionate, and self-motivated. Someone who has a passion for cleanliness and takes pride in a job well done. Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00am-3:30pm, weekend/holiday rotation required

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

Perform general laundry duties, such as: sorting, washing, drying folding and hanging resident laundry and other linen
Stack carts safely and deliver resident clothing and facility linen, as directed
Keeps laundry area and delivery carts, clean, sanitized and in good working order
Use proper safety measures at all times
Willingness to accept additional job responsibilities and schedule changes as they arise

Requirements:

Able to work respectfully and effectively with residents, guests, and team members
Demonstrates independent problem solving and critical thinking skills
Works well independently and as a member of a team
Previous Laundry experience a plus but not a must-we will provide training!
