Laundry Attendant/ Randstad

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for collecting, sorting, cleaning, drying, folding, and distributing hospital linens, uniforms, gowns, and other washable items. This role ensures that all laundry is processed according to hospital standards and infection control guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

  Collect soiled linens, gowns, uniforms, and other washable items from designated hospital areas.

  Sort laundry by type, color, fabric, and level of soiling.

  Use appropriate detergents, disinfectants, and chemicals in proper quantities.

  Package and distribute clean laundry to appropriate hospital units in a timely manner.

  Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facility, including equipment and storage areas.

  Follow hospital infection control and safety procedures, including proper handling of contaminated materials.
