Job Description - Laundry Driver

Southeast Texas HR is seeking Laundry Aides & Drivers with a experience as a delivery driver. As our Laundry Aides & Drivers, you will work with an area client in sorting, processing, cleaning, and delivering hospital laundry. You will work with a team of experienced professionals who share your passion for excellence. We offer competitive compensation as well as opportunities for growth and advancement. These can be temp-to-perm positions and pay will be $15.00-$17.00 per hour DOE. This is a days position and weekends will be required.

Responsibilities of Laundry Aide & Driver

Operate company box truck to transport linen and other materials to and from customer locations.

Ensure the safe loading and unloading of linen and materials onto the box truck.

Perform vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the manager.

Follow approved safety guidelines, separating and removing solid waste and soiled linens for safe disposal before laundering linens.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory.

Provide excellent customer service to customers on a daily basis.

Complete all tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to follow procedures and safety regulations.

Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Reliable transportation to and from work.

Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Have a copy of immunization records

Start work at 2:00 am and work weekends
