Laundry Manager

The Laundry Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the laundry department at Boar's Head Resort. This role includes managing staff, ensuring the quality and efficiency of laundry services, and maintaining equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and train laundry staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

- Manage the daily workflow of laundry operations, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and garments.

- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.

- Implement and maintain safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.

- Develop and enforce policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.

- Conduct regular inspections of laundry equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning.

- Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to laundry services.

- Collaborate with other departments to meet the laundry needs of the resort.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in laundry management or a similar role.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
