Laundry Service Team Lead - Night Shift - South Austin, TX - Professional Development Opportunities

With our convenient pickup and delivery service, we are on a mission to give back time to our customers by taking laundry & dry cleaning off their to-do lists. We're obsessed with delivering the perfect customer experience and caring for our customer's items just as we would for our own.

This position is located at our South Austin laundromat at 11330 Menchaca Rd Austin, TX 78748.

Current Schedule:

Monday - Wednesday: 6pm-2am
Saturday and Sunday: 4pm-11pm.

Team Lead Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and auditing daily operations, including customer service, inventory management, machine maintenance, and staff scheduling
• Handle routine tasks and customer problems and escalate unusual or high priority items.
• Prepare reports for management, including shift reports, incident reports, maintenance reports
• Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures
• Train new employees on proper operational procedures and safety protocols
• Assist in managing employee performance, conducting regular performance review conversations, and coaching or retraining when necessary
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Maintain all machines by ensuring all preventative maintenance tasks are completed timely, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and scheduling technicians when necessary
• Order supplies and manage inventory levels
• Process payments, handle cash transactions, and follow all cash management procedures
• Assist in the implementation of corporate-led marketing strategies to increase sales
• Track employee attendance and performance metrics
• Ensure company goals are being met for volume and quality production and taking corrective action when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Team Lead Requirements:

• 2+ years of face-to-face customer service experience
• 1+ year of experience of supervisory experience preferred, preferably in a retail or food service environment
• Computer and tech savvy
• Handy and able to troubleshoot issues
• Creative problem solving
• Willing to learn and understand how to run a laundromat

• Laundry can get heavy, so you need to be able to lift 30-50 pounds
• Not afraid of going above-and-beyond when needed
• Driven by quality and accuracy
• Dependable and passionate about your work

Team Lead Pay & Perks:

• Starting rate starting at $17.00 per hour
