Laundry Worker Responsibilities include:

• Collects soiled items from halls and utility areas.
• Sorts, weighs,washes, and extracts.
• Dries, folds, sorts and labels clean linens.
• Distributes to Health Care Center closets and wing carts in neat and orderly fashion.
• Follows routine daily, weekly and occasional laundry area cleaning and sanitation schedules including daily cleaning of carts and dryers, cleaning of furnishings, fixtures, countertops, closets and other areas of laundry; mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting of floors, and emptying, cleaning and relining of waste receptacles.

Laundry Worker Qualifications

• Prior laundry and/or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable and detail oriented.
• Must possess a strong customer service focus.
