Join the team at St. Joseph's Center as a Laundry Worker. You'll help keep our residents comfortable by providing clean clothing and linens while working with a supportive team. Your work plays an important role in keeping our residents healthy, safe, and cared for every day.

What You’ll Do



  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize resident clothing and facility linens.

  • Deliver and collect laundry throughout the Center and other program locations.

  • Keep the laundry room, carts, and equipment clean and safe.

  • Follow proper cleaning and infection control procedures.

  • Perform basic maintenance on laundry equipment, such as cleaning lint screens, and report any equipment problems.

  • Work closely with your team to provide reliable laundry service every day.

What’s Required of You



  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Experience or training with laundry equipment is preferred.

  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Committed to providing a clean and safe environment for those we serve.


This position requires standing for most of the workday, walking throughout the facility, lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and moving laundry carts.
