Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Post Graduate Law Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will provide assistance to lawyers, ensuring they are able to carry out their duties. You will conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and compile case materials. The ideal candidate is hardworking and detail-oriented. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is just starting a legal career.

Responsibilities

Prepare case-specific documents, including memoranda and briefs

Prepare I-601A Provisional Waivers, VAWA, U Visa, Humanitarian Packets

Prepare Applications before the Immigration Court: Asylum, Withholding of Removal, Convention Against Torture, EOIR-42B

File Motion to Reopens and Appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals

Maintain and update documentation

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate degree is required

2 years of immigration experience as a Law Clerk or in a similar position is required

Fluent in Spanish and English

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Highly organized with document management experience

Excellent research skills

Compensation: $60,000.00 per year
