Lawn Care Supervisor

This is not a seasonal position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lawn Care Supervisor to lead our team in providing exceptional lawn care and landscape maintenance services to our homes in Genesee County. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and fostering a positive work environment.
 

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of lawn care teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and irrigation.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices in lawn care and groundskeeping.
• Inspect completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards and client specifications.
• Develop maintenance schedules for gardens and landscaped areas to promote healthy growth.
• Manage equipment usage and maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.

Experience

• Proven experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is essential.
• 2+ years in experience in leadership skills with a background in supervising team
• Knowledge of groundskeeping techniques, irrigation systems, and garden maintenance practices.
• Ability to build strong relationships with team members and clients alike.
• Ability to build relationships with staff and residents while ensuring quality service
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
