Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lawn Maintenance Foreman with over 5 years of expertise in the lawn care industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of lawn maintenance technicians, ensuring quality work and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. As a foreman, you will play a key role in managing daily operations, supervising maintenance staff, and ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of lawn care technicians in the maintenance and upkeep of residential and commercial properties.

Plan, delegate, and execute lawn care projects, including mowing, edging, trimming and weed control.

Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency, performing minor repairs when needed.

Train and mentor new staff on proper techniques, safety protocols, and company policies.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures while on the job.

Maintain a high level of quality control in all areas of lawn care, ensuring consistent and professional results.

Oversee inventory of lawn care materials and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.

Maintain detailed records of work completed, time tracking, and project progress.

Ensure that all team members are meeting performance standards and customer expectations.

Work closely with the Operations Manager to schedule work, assign tasks, and monitor performance.

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience in lawn maintenance, landscaping, or groundskeeping.

Proven leadership abilities and experience supervising a team.

In-depth knowledge of lawn care techniques and equipment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Ability to operate a variety of landscaping equipment such as riding mowers, blowers, and trimmers.

Experience with customer service and conflict resolution.
