Job Description - LBS1 Education Jobs Available!

Special Education Teacher (ESE) – Now Interviewing for 2025 Fall Hiring!

Our Organization seeks a dedicated educator who thrives in a collaborative environment, working closely with parents, caregivers, and staff to develop tailored educational strategies that support each student’s unique learning journey. As an LBS1 Specialist, you will design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) within a resource room setting to address diverse academic and developmental needs.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who thrives in collaborative environments and is committed to creating inclusive, supportive spaces where every child can succeed.

Position Brief:

Prepare and implement the instructional process for K-1 students with IEP's.

Deliver instruction, through the use of curriculum materials and educational software.

Develop daily lesson plans and classroom schedule that reflects state and school requirements.

Implement standards for student behavior in order to ensure a safe, secure and effective learning environment by providing a high degree of structure, clear expectations, and consistency.

Requirements

Valid Illinois PEL with an LBS1 (Special Education) endorsement.

Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or a related role.

At least a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Master’s preferred).
