• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
  


• Monitor and track student progress, keeping thorough and accurate documentation.
  


• Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals.
  


• Maintain a structured, encouraging learning environment that fosters both academic and personal development.
  


• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure a consistent and supportive approach for student success.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (master’s degree preferred).
  


• Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar setting, preferably supporting early childhood learners.
  


• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement (alternative credentials will not be accepted).
