LCSW Opportunity at Successful Non-Profit Health Clinic - Dynamic Team

Since its establishment in 1986, KHEIR Center has been dedicated to providing Southern California's underserved communities and uninsured residents with access to healthcare and social services. KHEIR has grown from an organization focused primarily on the non-English speaking Korean community into a series of programs that serve individuals regardless of their race, ethnicity, age, gender, sex, sexual orientation, or income. KHEIR currently operates the nation's only full-time community clinic with the Korean, Spanish, and English language capabilities. During the past two decades, KHEIR Center has expanded its services to include a community clinic, adult day health centers, and human services.

KHEIR Center is committed to providing linguistically and culturally-sensitive quality primary healthcare and human services support to the underserved and uninsured residents of Southern California. We're looking for a dedicated professional, passionate about therapy work (mostly adult patients) with a diverse population. Responsibilities for the position include conducting individual therapy, facilitating groups and supervising 3-4 ASWs.Our organization has a highly collaborative leadership team, in which the LCSW would have the opportunity to design behavioral health programming, develop policies & protocols, and propose creative ideas for growing the department.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work.
• Licensed in California as LCSW with 2 years of experience post-masters.
• Bilingual English/Korean OR English/Spanish (highly preferred, but not necessary).
• Experience in community clinic setting a plus.
