Job Overview:

This position is responsible for training, daily oversight, and work direction of Access Coordinators and requires demonstrated success as an Access Coordinator. Maintains the master schedule, covers open shifts, maintains payroll. Responsible for the following daily activities: monitoring work flow, assigning work, auditing staff, running reports, and problem solving for staff issues. Supports Manager by attending meetings, providing input for staff performance appraisals and assisting with other duties as assigned. Assists Manager in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives. Provides staff education to improve performance and is able to work in multiple Access areas. Provides after hours on-call coverage for multiple Access areas.

Job Requirements:

Associate's Degree or Diploma in Healthcare 
Business, Health Administration, Allied Health 
Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree
Proven aptitude for creating and providing training Understands basic concepts of process improvement 
Able to perform multiple complex processes 
1-2 years experience Customer Service in a TriHealth Access role or equivalent

Job Responsibilities:

Provides adequate staffing within budgeted guidelines. This includes the functions of payroll, scheduling, training and overtime.
Achieves patient satisfaction, accuracy, and producitivity targets.
Provides operational support to multiple sites and or areas.
Troubleshoots problems and departmental issues to achieve a smooth daily workflow.
Coordinates activities with the manager such as performance issues, process improvement, staff development and policy development and implementation.
