Lead Analyst, Pharmacy Contracting & Distribution

Summary:

In this role, you will be the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Spend Management Solutions Team. This role focuses on supporting the design, optimization, and strategic growth of our Pharmacy Contracting Strategy and Distribution Insights & Solutions. You will collaborate across business units, leverage diverse data sources, and develop data-led processes, strategies, and recommendations. Your work will directly contribute to identifying business opportunities and presenting actionable insights to both internal management and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage tools and processes using Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI.

• Enhance existing Pharmacy Contracting and Distribution tools to support revenue growth and drive business & market insights.

• Design data-driven processes that inform strategy and daily operations.

• Perform independent root cause analysis and identify underlying business or market drivers and/or opportunities.

• Collate data from multiple resources into summarized findings with a clear action plan.

• Develop and present data or business strategy presentations and processes to executive level audiences and diverse stakeholders.

• Create and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Pharmacy Contracting and Distribution.

• Provide data-backed recommendations that guide business decisions and operational improvements.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree is a plus.

• 7 or more years of relevant work experience required; preferably in data analysis, operational support or management, or financial planning.

• Experience in strategic budgeting, volume forecasting, operational planning, and performance metric tracking, ideally within pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.

• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical distribution, product access, pricing structures, inventory management, contract administration, and group purchasing organizations.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI required; familiarity with Microsoft Azure preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to investigate data patterns, perform root cause analysis, and uncover underlying business drivers or opportunities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience delivering executive-level presentations; able to work independently and collaboratively with minimal direction.
