Lead Analyst, Pricing and Land

Overview

The Lead Analyst, Pricing & Land, will support both our pricing and Land teams. On the pricing side they will help optimize our pricing strategies, ensuring we are selling the right home, at the right time, for the right price. On the land side, they will leverage the pricing insights to supports Lennar’s land acquisition efforts, including optimizing our Land pipeline, identifying where we need land, and what products should be built on that land. This individual will play a key role in growing and sustaining a world-class analytics function whose work directly influences the trajectory of the business.

Responsibilities

Partner with Divisions and Sales leaders to inform and optimize all pricing decisions.
Build the data visualizations and feedback loops to ensure we are using all available data to set the right price and continuously learning to improve our pricing models
Partner with the Data Science team to build the right models inputs and visualizations to improve pricing outcomes
Establishing Pricing KPIs and incrementality
Develop a deep knowledge of key success indicators and uphold best practices for measurement and reporting
Analyze Land pipelines, matching Land deals with current community pipelines. Highlighting where we have excess and insufficient land for future communities.
Partner with the Land Acquisition team to help them acquire the right land at the best possible price
Automate a largely offline process today. Improving decision-making on land deals today and connecting projections to actuals to better inform future deals
Connect customer data and current community performance to future land deals, optimizing what products and amenities to build in future communities
Create and automate dashboards, reports, and other data tools

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in analytics
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, involving data analysis and predictive modeling
You live in SQL and a few other useful tools of the data trade
Proactive, not reactive, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to take in loose requirements, ask smart questions, and produce high-quality, actionable insights
Confident with learning new tools, technologies, and methodologies
Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
