Summary: The Lead Application Developer is responsible for creating web and mobile applications tailored for stakeholders in the finance sector. Education and/or Experience: 10 years of experience in software development, with significant exposure to web technologies. Minimum 8 years focused on developing web applications, Minimum 6 years working with .NET Framework, .Net CORE C#, and SQL Server and Angular. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Architectural Oversight:
Initiate and guide the process of requirements gathering and documentation. Determine project scope, timeline, and critical milestones. Evaluate potential risks and devise countermeasures. Conceptualize and outline preliminary models or demos. Facilitate goal attainment and synchronize efforts with remote project teams.
Design and Development Contribution:
Create and oversee the architecture of application modules. Develop detailed implementation plans. Engage in critical assessment of implementation and testing strategies.
Release and Maintenance:
Code applications as per outlined specifications. Execute and oversee integration testing. Review code and project deliverables, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications. Participate in and lead discussions on user feedback and necessary adjustments. Spearhead the deployment process and provide ongoing support post-launch.
Operational Support and Improvement:
Address and resolve application issues escalated beyond initial support. Recognize and document opportunities for process optimizations, including coding standards and architectural enhancements. Champion the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
Proficient in verbal and written communication, capable of engaging effectively across organizational levels. Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Expertise in Microsoft Azure, .NET ecosystem (including .NET Framework and .NET Core), Visual Studio, C#, JavaScript, and ASP.NET. Practical experience with frontend frameworks like Angular and React. Strong foundation in SQL Server, T-SQL, and experience with Team Foundation Server. Familiarity with Visual Studio Release Management is advantageous. Aptitude for managing concurrent tasks, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines. Ability to collaborate with distributed teams and engage stakeholders. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of handling high-pressure situations. Independent work style with the capability to lead a development team towards achieving project goals.
