Job Description - Lead, Assembly

Simply put, we make gas look good.

We’re looking for an Assembly Lead to oversee the final fabrication and assembly of our custom process systems. If you're a hands-on leader who takes pride in delivering high-quality equipment and keeping things running smoothly on the shop floor, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations in the Assembly Department
  • Plan jobs, assign tasks, and maximize throughput
  • Ensure compliance with welding codes, safety protocols, and quality standards
  • Stage and prepare jobs for testing and shipment
  • Mentor team members and support ongoing training
  • Troubleshoot issues and work with other departments to keep projects on track
  • Represent the department in meetings and communicate job status to leadership

Requirements

  • 5+ years in process equipment assembly, including Code welding (preferred but not required)
  • Experience reading P&IDs and engineering documentation
  • Strong fitting and welding background
  • Proven leadership ability in a shop environment
  • Familiarity with ASME, ANSI codes, and ISO 9001 practices
  • Proficiency with MS Office and shop scheduling tools
