About the Role:

We are looking for a Lead Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team at Mt. Juliet Tire Center Goodyear. As a leader in the automotive industry, we are committed to providing top-notch service to our customers and creating a positive work environment for our employees.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair a wide variety of repairs; including but not limited to drivability, brakes, emissions, steering and suspension, electrical, maintenance services, HVAC, starting and charging, and major engine repairs.

Communicate effectively with the Service Manager an honest assessment of the needed repairs.

Maintain a professional working environment that encourages teamwork among colleagues.

Attend and participate in store meetings.

Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

ASE certification preferred.

5+ years of automotive repair experience.

Experience with various makes and models.

Familiar with Mitchell On Demand software.

Have your own tools including a diagnostic scan tool.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Ability to work Mon-Fri 7a-6p.

Ability to stand and work eight (8) to ten (10) hours per day.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Compensation: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Mt. Juliet Tire Center is independently owned and operated by Stacy and Stewart Roberson who are residents in the Mt. Juliet community. In 2005, Stacy had the opportunity to purchase her first Goodyear store and then in 2010 purchased her second location in Mt. Juliet. Stacy has a business background with experience as a Parts Consultant and Facility Consultant for the Saturn Corporation working directly with the dealerships and also as a Corporate Buyer for their Saturn Service Parts division. Over the years we have been very blessed to have wonderful customers and employees who have supported our success and our growth. Our goal as business owners is to provide honest trustworthy service to each of our customers and to also provide them with the necessary information needed to make the right decisions regarding their automotive repair needs.
