Lead Audio Visual Technician
The Tech's responsibilities include installing, configuring, operating, disassembling, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment. Performs routine maintenance, and inventory tracking. Coordinating with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings. Responds to and resolves routine questions and technical issue
Main Points
Site leaders need to be flexible and capable of leading on-site audio/video integration projects.
Essential duties include managing the site installation of speakers and cabling; building racks; crimping and soldering; planning and scheduling on-site travel; and coordinating personnel matters.
Site leaders must maintain communication with superiors and co-workers at the corporate headquarters.
50-75% travel. Travel is typically Sunday-Thursday/Friday. Everything is paid for plus per diem.
Salary: 75k-90k depending on experience
Targeting about 5+ years of experience
Any experience with Crestron, AMX, BiAmp, Polycom would be great
They can maintain higher clearances
A CTS certification would be great but not required
Job Duties:
Installation, testing, and troubleshooting of AV systems which includes displays, projectors, video conferencing equipment, control systems, etc.
Understanding and interpreting of both architectural and electrical schematics
On-site supervision of installation team and communication with Project Supervisors to complete jobs on time and within budget
Participate in meetings and provide updates to account managers
During job commissioning ensure that the systems quality and performance meet design specifications

Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience with audio/video installations and concepts. Experience with audio/video concepts is highly beneficial.
Experience with Cisco Webex
Have experience installing Creston, AMX, or Biamp
