Lead Axiom Developer

The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.
EFT is seeking a Lead Axiom Engineer to lead projects, teams, and serve as a peer mentor. This position will help manage and communicate the Axiom ControllerView application's technology platform status, project pipeline, and development priorities. Responsibilities will also include requirements gathering, technical architecture, and unit testing.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications, US:
5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ Years Axiom development experience including experience on v10.x
5+ years of experience with major database engines such as Oracle or SQL Server
3+ years of experience with SQL, Stored Procedures and ETL technologies
Ability to work effectively in an Agile Scrum or Kanban environment
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of design and development of modern web applications
Experience with public and private cloud integration with AWS, IAAS, Azure, or Google
Familiarity with JIRA & Confluence
Experience leading teams
5+ years of development experience with languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or R
Job Expectations:
Position will require onsite presence in a hybrid capacity (3 or more days in the office) in Charlotte, NC, San Francisco, CA, Summit, NJ, or New York, NY.
Pay Range
$111,100.00 - $237,100.00
