POSITION SUMMARY: The Lead Barista position is a key role within our establishment, combining exceptional beverage preparation skills, guest satisfaction, and leadership responsibilities. This individual will perform the core duties of a barista while ensuring the smooth functioning of coffee shop operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Barista Duties:
• Expertly prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including frappes, smoothies, lattes, and specialty drinks.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all beverages.
• Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service to guests.

• Inventory Management:
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels for coffee beans, syrups, dairy, and other essential supplies.
• Conduct regular stock checks to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Collaborate with suppliers and management to reorder items as needed.

• Stocking and Area Maintenance:
• Ensure that all workstations and serving areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of brewing equipment and utensils.
• Follow established protocols for cleaning and maintaining machines.

• Guest Relations:
• Address guest complaints or special requests professionally and effectively.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and identify opportunities to improve service.
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming and positive atmosphere.

• Health and Safety Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Conduct routine checks to uphold standards for cleanliness and safety.

• Leadership and Team Support:
• Serve as a role model for baristas, demonstrating exceptional skills and professionalism.
• Provide training, mentorship, and support to team members.
• Assist management in daily operations and reporting key metrics.
