Your Mission

PostcardMania is seeking a highly skilled and driven Lead BI & Data Platform Engineer to take ownership of our enterprise reporting, SQL Server data platform, and Power BI analytics environment.

This is a senior, hands -on technical leadership role responsible for designing, building, and optimizing our SQL Server data warehouse infrastructure, replication architecture, and business intelligence solutions. You will serve as the company’s subject matter expert for SQL Server, data architecture, and Power BI while partnering with leadership and departments across the organization to deliver accurate, scalable, and actionable data.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, improving performance, and building a modern analytics platform that supports the company’s continued growth.

Schedule

This is a full -time position, either in -office or remote, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the company’s SQL Server data warehouse environment and reporting infrastructure.
  
• Architect and manage SQL Server replication to support reporting and analytics.
  
• Own and optimize all company Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
  
• Design and implement scalable relational data models.
  
• Develop, maintain, and improve ETL/ELT processes for integrating data across multiple systems.
  
• Monitor and tune SQL Server performance, indexing, query execution, and database health.
  
• Establish data governance standards and reporting best practices.
  
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Leadership to define analytics needs.
  
• Translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
  
• Continuously improve the performance, accuracy, and reliability of reporting systems.
