Lead Brand Ambassador

HomeSlyce JHU / Charles Village – Gourmet Pizzeria

As the Lead Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of HomeSlyce during weekday lunch shifts—providing warm hospitality, supporting the FOH team, working closely with management, and ensuring smooth transitions from opening through the early dinner service. 

Main Responsibilities

Pre-Service Tasks

• Arrive on time and complete the FOH opening checklist
• Perform sanitation and restaurant readiness checks
• Receive early phone, to-go, and catering calls
• Review and prepare for scheduled carryout and delivery orders for the day

Guest Service & Hospitality

• Greet early dine-in guests and deliver excellent service

Phone, To-Go & Catering

• Handle phone orders professionally (following FOH standards)
• Accurately take and ring in to-go and catering orders
• Communicate accurate pickup times to guests
• Prepare to-go packaging with full accuracy and quality

Opening Responsibilities

• Support the FOH team during the transition into lunch service
• Assist with onboarding and guiding new Brand Ambassadors during opening shifts
• Maintain a positive, professional atmosphere
• Handle early guest questions or concerns with professionalism

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• FOH experience (hosting, serving, bartending, barista, café, etc.)
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with phones and multitasking
• Able to follow structured checklists and procedures
• Positive attitude and hospitality mindset
