The Lead Business Development Sales Representative will lead growth efforts of Battery Cell Manufacturing Business by driving key strategies and partnership initiatives which are critical to market growth and profitability. The Leader should be able to continually assess portfolio opportunities and needs in the Battery Cell Manufacturing Market, provide input into industry trends, technology/product development, to enhance our portfolio offerings specific to end-user needs.
You will be one of the driving forces for Honeywell achieving a dominant market position in providing solutions and services to the Battery Cell Manufacturing space. Americas Battery Cell Manufacturing Lead Business Development Sales Representative should have significant domain knowledge of the Battery Cell Manufacturing industry, including its key business and technology drivers influencing the associated software & automation solutions requirements. The Leader will be Instrumental in advising leadership on data-driven strategies to transform business operations that exceed strategic, financial, and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage all relationships with prospects and customers in the Battery Cell Manufacturing industry.
Work with executive leadership to build a dynamic and future flexible business strategy for rapid growth in this market space.
Create business development strategies to increase company revenue and brand value.
Advise on Battery Cell Manufacturing industry trends and support the development of growth strategies. Analyze existing business strategies and provide recommendations for future growth.
Drive sales and operations in meeting pole sales targets.
Drive sales teams for strong growth in pipeline and project wins.
Help executive leadership in setting investment direction to support profitable growth in this market space.
Work with strategic marketing and LOB to develop strategic plans that outline positioning, customer segment opportunity, products, pricing, campaigns, and detailed competitive analysis.
Participate in seminars and industry events to represent Honeywell in the Battery and Cell Manufacturing market.
Up to 70% travel
YOU MUST HAVE
5+ years-experience in the Battery Cell Manufacturing and/or Pulp and Paper Industry.
Demonstrated strong business sense with the leadership and functional ability to define and implement growth strategies and translate into practical actions and metric driven operating systems.
Success leading marketing, business development, sales, and new offering development teams.
Demonstrated skills to team building and problem-solving skills.
Ability to forge solid relationships (externally & internally) and lead across a broad and geographically dispersed business.
Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision.
Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
Demonstrated to behave and communicate to team sense of urgency.
Excellent verbal and written communication.

Previous experience with Capital Projects in Battery Cell Manufacturing/Pulp and Paper Industry.
Experience with Business Development.
Excellent team and communication skills.
Self- starter, who thrives in an ever-evolving sales environment.
An ability to exercise independent judgment.
Understanding of the Honeywell value proposition as well as the competitive landscape.
Demonstrated knowledge of business impact of software and automation solutions used across the Battery and Cell Manufacturing value chain.
Thorough knowledge of market penetration strategies and market development strategies and techniques.
Ability to develop and implement effective communication plans for internal/external customers.
Proven effectiveness in a highly matrixed environment.
