Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers' division has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Business Operations Specialist to join the E-7 Program in Tukwila, WA or Oklahoma City, OK

Our Business Operations Specialist will play an essential role in driving operational excellence, data‑driven decision making, and cross‑functional integration across the Program. This role partners with senior program managers to deliver timely analytics and insights, manage performance metrics, and implement initiatives that strengthen Program Management performance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Operationalizes, implements, and integrates program business requirements into executable plans and processes

  • Guides and facilitates development of integration plans, strategies, and processes to achieve business goals

  • Coordinates and clarifies analysis with business partners to validate results and determine scope to meet long range business plans

  • Coordinates commitments across internal and external organizations for large-scale, complex programs to execute broad strategies

  • Identifies risks and opportunities; develops mitigation plans and refine the business case

  • Prepares and presents plans to executive leadership to obtain approval; leads implementation and follow-up once approved

  • Consults with leaders on a healthy management system, leveraging Program Management Best Practices

  • Utilizes data analytics to forecast performance to committed plans and consults with leaders on strategic opportunities

  • Consults with leaders on strategic opportunities based on data-driven forecasts and trend analysis

  • Ensures timely follow-up and resolution of issues to protect schedule, cost, and performance commitments

  • Assists in task management and provides expert business advice to optimize executive resources

  • Defines, designs, plans, and leads project teams; controls and delivers project deliverables while optimizing team contributions

  • Builds and leverages collaborative relationships across the enterprise to accomplish goals

  • Coaches, mentors, and develops less experienced personnel

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience with program management / project management

  • 5+ years’ experience, skill, and ability to: collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data

  • 5+ years’ experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior leaders, customers, stakeholders, peers and partners

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams

  • Experience Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Program Management Best Practices, the Enterprise Standard Gated Process, and Workforce Planning

  • Data storyteller who translates analytics into actionable insights and recommendations to leaders

  • Strong experience with data analytics, dashboards, and trend analysis

  • Ability to work quickly and adapt in a fast-changing environment with evolving systems and tools

  • Ability to think strategically and understand how parts of the organization connect and affect each other

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills

  • Fluency with M365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Lists, and Excel; exposure to Power Apps and Power Automate

Conflict of Interest:

Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
