Key Responsibilities
Medication Administration: Safely and accurately administer medications according to each resident's care plan. Record and report medication administration as required by facility policies and state regulations.
Daily Living Assistance: Help residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, to promote their comfort and well-being.
Resident Engagement: Support and encourage residents to participate in social and recreational activities. Engage with residents to build a warm, positive environment and foster a sense of community.
Monitoring and Reporting: Observe and document changes in residents' health, mood, or behavior. Promptly report any concerns to the lead LPN or Resident Care Coordinator.
Household Assistance: Support a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, and ensuring common areas are welcoming and organized.
Resident Mobility and Transfers: Assist residents with mobility needs, including walking, transferring, or repositioning, in accordance with safety protocols.
Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with the care team, including nurses, caregivers, and family members, to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care.
Qualifications
Certification as a Caregiver or Med Tech, in good standing
Experience in Senior Care: Prior experience in assisted living or residential care preferred
Medication Administration Skills: Understanding of safe medication administration protocols and procedures
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to connect with residents, families, and team members
Compassion and Reliability: A positive, caring attitude and a commitment to providing consistent, quality care

Our Executive Directors
Our Executive Directors oversee the care of residents and the general operations of the home. Executive Directors may be required to be licensed or certified depending on the state in which the home is located. They are all experienced in caring for seniors in a residential setting.
Our Resident Ambassadors
While some facilities simply call them “caregivers,” to us they’re a lot more. We call them Resident Ambassadors. Our Resident Ambassadors are responsible for direct hands-on care of our residents.They have been specially trained in the Majestic Residences system of care.
