Summary:
Carry out the policies of the POM restaurant department and company. Responsible for preparation of food items according to specified standards. Assist in all areas of the POM kitchen production. Help maintain proper sanitation in all areas. Help stock and rotate product.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises the kitchen in the absence Chef or Sous chef.
Work Environment:
Work entails various conditions of noise levels, temperature, illumination, air quality, crowding, balance and handling of sharp and hot objects. Long hours with over time required at times. Work requires knowledge and use of chemicals and electrical equipment.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk or sit, talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and or/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally carry up to 50 pounds.
