Lead Cybersecurity Engineer - CONTINGENT

ROGERCO, Inc. (RCI) is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to join a team supporting the administration of programs on behalf of a Federal agency. In this role, you will direct security engineering activities and processes supporting enterprise monitoring. This is a Hybrid role based in Washington, DC, with potential for remote work. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee security engineering
• Provide Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) support and administration
• Assist with monitoring architecture support
• Onboard data sources and logs
• Refine and tune alert thresholds and detection logic
• Lead technical enhancement activities to improve enterprise monitoring reliability and efficacy

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10 years of related experience (preferred)
• Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation (latest revision), and/or equivalent advanced security engineering or architecture certification (required)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be a United States citizen.
