St. Louis Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a compassionate and experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. We specialize in providing exceptional dental care to children and teens in a fun, interactive, and educational environment. 

As a Lead Dental Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing clinical operations, mentoring and training dental assistants, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will collaborate closely with our pediatric dentists to create a positive and efficient dental experience for our young patients and their families.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Patient Care: Assist pediatric dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Sterilization & Infection Control: Oversee sterilization processes and maintain compliance with infection control protocols.
• Inventory Management: Manage clinical supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper functioning.
• Training & Development: Conduct training sessions for new and existing staff, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
• Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, patient communications, and maintaining accurate patient records
• Other duties will be assigned

Qualifications: 

• Certification from an accredited dental assisting program.
• Radiology certification as per state requirements.
• At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred.
