Lead Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Assistant

This position serves as the operational leader for the Technologist Assistant and Aide team, providing oversight of daily departmental functions, staff performance, scheduling, and patient support services. This role promotes operational excellence through effective leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to quality, safety, and an exceptional patient experience.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: Experience working in a fast paced medical environment and contact with the public is preferred.  CNA/EMT/comparable patient care experience preferred.  Preferred six months in health care setting involved in the movement of ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients.  The ability to safely and ergonomically move equipment, patients and supplies.  The ability to use a telephone, Vocera, and computer keyboard.  Proficiency in reading and writing English. MRI Safety training required within 3 months of hire date.  SECURE training required within 6 months of hire date and an annual refresher course.  

EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent preferred

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: BLS (Basic Life Support)
