Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) - female only

Job Summary:
The Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) - (Female Only) at Caresense Living  is a full-time, hourly healthcare/medical job located in Warminster, Pennsylvania. This individual contributor role is responsible for providing direct care and support to individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities in their homes. The Lead DSP will also be responsible for supervising and training a team of DSPs, ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients.

Schedule: Tuesday Through Saturday 2pm to 10pm

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $19 per hour, paid biweekly. Employees are also eligible for company benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to clients with physical and/or developmental disabilities, following their individualized care plans
- Administer medication to clients as prescribed by their healthcare professionals
- Train and supervise a team of DSPs, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide quality care
- Coordinate and schedule shift coverage to ensure round-the-clock care for clients
- Monitor clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Ensure all documentation is accurately completed and up-to-date
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care for individals

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in direct care, preferably with individuals with disabilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be female
