Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the cleaning and distribution of recirculating medical equipment. Additionally, this role assists with the day-to-day operations including data entry, medical equipment inventory, special projects, and minor equipment troubleshooting and management when needed.

Major Job Functions

The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job.  The incumbent may perform other duties, both major and minor, that are not mentioned below.  In addition, specific functions may change from time to time:

• Assists with taking service calls and creating work orders for technicians

• Assists with the day-to-day operations including data entry, medical equipment inventory, special projects, and minor equipment troubleshooting and management

• Monitors circulating equipment levels

• Delivers equipment to specified locations in patient-ready condition with appropriate accessories

• Coordinate the search and cleaning of equipment to replenish central supply

• Manage the day-to-day distribution of CTS equipment throughout the hospital

• Coordinate vendor service when needed, provide PO, and document services provided in AIMS database

• Monitor AeroScout when needed

• Ensures the proper cleaning supplies and PPE is available to ECD team

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

The following qualifications, or equivalents, are the minimum requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of this job:

Education and Formal Training: 

• High school graduate or equivalent required

Work Experience: 

• Previous related experience required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: 

• Strong data entry skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Ability to multitask and complete assignments with a high degree of integrity

• Entry level technical troubleshooting skills preferred

• Strong communication skills (listening, writing, and speaking)

• Customer-focused; willing to go above and beyond

• Ability to work at a consistent and fast pace to meet deadlines

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability and willingness to learn new skills and take initiative to do so

• Maintains a positive and enthusiastic attitude

• Ability to help motivate the team with a team first mentality

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
