What You’ll Do

As a Lead Educator, you will:

• Design and implement thoughtful, developmentally appropriate experiences that reflect children’s interests and Jewish values
• Create a classroom environment that is beautiful, intentional, and rich in opportunities for exploration
• Document children’s learning through photos, observations, and storytelling
• Work closely with co-teachers to plan, reflect, and grow as a teaching team
• Foster meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Bring Jewish holidays, traditions, Hebrew language, and values into the classroom in age-appropriate, inclusive ways
• Collaborate with the director and pedagogical team on curriculum development and professional learning

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in early childhood education, ideally as a lead or co-lead teacher
• Familiarity with Reggio, co-constuctivist or emergent curriculum approaches is a plus
• Knowledge of Jewish culture and holidays
• Ability to meet licensing requirements for early childhood educators
