Job: Lead Facilities Maintenance Technican (Full-Time)

Schedule: Typically, Monday - Friday, during standard business hours, unless business needs or emergency situations occur
Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI) – an industry-leading facilities management company, in business for over 30 years, (still family owned & operated), is actively recruiting for a skilled & experienced Lead Facilities Maintenance Technican to support the maintenance operation, and safety of our Client's corporate office building(s), in Dallas, TX. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence and help guide a team of technicians and ensure the building’s systems operate efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with all safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating the daily operations and maintenance of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security systems.
-Assist in coaching additional team members; other maintenance technicians - providing training, and support
- Complete preventive maintenance initiatives to optimize system performance and longevity.
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues, emergencies, and tenant requests to minimize downtime and ensure occupant safety.
- Assist in monitoring building systems’ performance, analyze data, and for energy efficiency and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for specialized repairs and upgrades.
- Assist in budgeting, procurement, and inventory management for maintenance supplies and equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a facilities maintenance team lead, or similar role in commercial buildings.
- Working knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Polite, professional and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
- HVAC license is required.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
