Children's Aid Society is seeking a diligent and compassionate Lead Family Advocate to oversee our Family Advocate team while managing a caseload of clients. This role provides leadership, supervision, and direct service to ensure the provision of high-quality case management, advocacy, and support services to families. The ideal candidate is a compassionate leader with a strong background in social services, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to family well-being.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct case management services to a caseload of families, including needs assessment, service planning, resource coordination, and advocacy.
Supervise, mentor, and support a team of family advocates to ensure effective and consistent service delivery.
Monitor caseloads, documentation, and progress reports to ensure compliance with agency policies and funding requirements.
Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with internal departments and community partners to connect families with housing, employment, healthcare, childcare, and other critical resources.
Respond to crises and provide ongoing support to families facing complex challenges.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with confidentiality laws and organizational standards.
Assist in program development and evaluation, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of case management experience, preferably working with families in crisis or underserved communities.
At least 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of community resources, public assistance programs, and trauma-informed care practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
