About the Opportunity

Seeking a Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician for the Fire Sprinkler Department. This role requires the ability to service, inspect, and repair sprinkler systems for established customers on a scheduled basis, with participation in an on-call rotation.

Job Duties

Conduct service calls, performing onsite emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customer fire sprinkler systems, identifying code and nonconformance issues.

Interpret and apply NFPA 25 codes during testing and inspections.

NICET certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems (preferred or willingness to obtain).

Perform Fire Pump Flow Tests (preferred but not required).

Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely service tickets and reports.

Communicate with customers to explain work performed and necessary repairs.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with 3 or fewer points (minimum 3 years of licensed driving required).

2+ years of experience inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems.

Knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes.

Comfortable working on ladders (6–12 ft) and lifts.

Able to lift up to 70 lbs, and work overhead and in small/unusual spaces (attics, crawl spaces).

Well-organized with ability to track service tickets and required documentation.

Compensation

Hourly pay (negotiable based on experience).

All hours worked between 6 pm and 5 am paid at time-and-a-half.

4-hour minimum at time-and-a-half for emergency service calls.

4-hour minimum at double time for emergency service calls on recognized holidays, plus 8 hours of holiday pay at regular rate.
