POSITION SUMMARY: The Lead position in our quick service restaurant is a dynamic role that combines operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and leadership responsibilities. This individual will perform the essential duties of a cashier while ensuring the smooth functioning of restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Cashiering Duties:
Accurately process guest orders, handle payments, and manage cash registers.
Provide prompt, friendly, and efficient service to all guests.
Address guest inquiries about menu items and promotions.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels for daily operations.
Conduct regular stock checks to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate with suppliers and management to reorder items as needed.
Stocking and Area Maintenance:
Ensure that all areas, including food preparation and serving stations, are stocked and organized.
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of storage and service areas.
Monitoring and Preparing Prep Lists:
Monitor daily business demands and adjust preparation lists accordingly.
Assist in preparing items on the prep list to meet operational needs.
Verify completion of prep tasks to meet operational needs.
Guest Relations:
Handle guest complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring swift resolution.
Monitor guest satisfaction and provide feedback to improve services.
Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all health and safety standards are met in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Conduct routine checks to verify adherence to food safety protocols.
Leadership and Team Support:
Serve as a role model for team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Provide guidance and support to staff as needed, including training and mentorship.
Assist management with daily operations and report on key metrics.
