Job Description - Lead General Laborer [Hydro/Sandblast/Paint]
Description
The LeadGeneral Laborer will be fulfilling duties that will aid in the completion of many aspects of work, ranging from Hydro Testing, Sand Blast, and Paint. Occassionally pivotting their team to assist with RigOut/Assembly or Shipping. This role is diverse and requires an individual willing to be flexible and learn varying expectations. Communication and teamwork is key to the success of this team member.This is a team lead role that is expected to perform and act with ownership, accountability, as well as produce or create those elements in the group they are leading.
Requirements
Expected Roles/Responsibilities:
Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
Appropriately communicate with persons in cohesively and appropriately (Bi-Lingual Sought)
Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications
Motions equipment operator to assist with alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
Will maintain and set up Hydro testing with all of the proper equipment (Gauges, Blinds, Plugs, Etc.)
Report Missing, Damaged, Worn materials that need to be replaced for Hydro Testing.
Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.
Maintain a log of all hydro equipment and testing as required per QC Handbook.
Provide direction for Hydro and Blasting crew
Report missing or damaged items in relation to the hydro and blasting equipment
Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Participation in Safety Trainings and Programs for team activities
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times.
Manual dexterity as needed to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises and smells associated with industry specific products.
