POSITION SUMMARY:

Ensures that Union Square buildings are presented to members and guests in a neat, orderly, and clean fashion. Responsible for presenting Union Square in a professional and positive image to new or prospective members, employees, and the local community.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Responsible for daily cleaning, such as sweeping and mopping floors, dusting window blinds, window seals, and furniture, cleaning windows, and cleaning and disinfecting sinks, fixtures, toilets, keypads, doorknobs, etc. 
• Perform light cleaning duties including keeping lobby countertops free from clutter and wiping down surfaces in high traffic areas throughout the day, such as lobby door windows and bathroom sinks.
• Ensure trash receptacles are emptied daily.
• Promote and maintain a positive and professional image of Union Square to employees, members, and the community. Interact with members and coworkers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Responsible for knowing and adhering to USCU policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook and training manuals. 
• Secure and safeguard at all times the confidential information of members, employees, and the Credit Union pertaining to accounts, security, and personal information.
• Promote teamwork by assisting others when needed or when work is completed. 
• Must have the flexibility to deal with changing work hours and locations as needed.
• Comply with all state and federal regulations related to this job and the Credit Union.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, management, or Human Resources.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

Must have the ability to operate kitchen and cleaning appliances. Must be able to work around and with detergents and cleaning solutions. 

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.
