We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician. This individual needs to have strong technical background with HVAC systems and components. Must have at least 5 years in the trade. Strong communication skills are also required. This individual will interact with customers directly and must be able to communicate effectively and provide an extraordinary customer experience. We are a small company that plans to grow. This individual will work very closely with the owner of the company and will wear many different hats. This will put the individual in a great position to be on the ground floor and reap the benefits of the company's future success.
Responsibilities:
Service HVAC systems (e.g. Furnace, Evaporator Coil & Heat Pump) - Diagnose and ultimately repair equipment for customers experiencing problems with their systems.
Installation of HVAC systems (e.g. Furnace, Evaporator Coil & Heat Pump) - Must be able to install a full system from beginning to end. This includes removing the old system, making any necessary modifications to ductwork and installing the new system.
Ability to build estimates for new installation. Will work with the owner to build estimates and then present to customer with the goal of winning the job.
Teach apprentices - teach individuals new to the trade how to do quality work. Showing how the systems work, steps to diagnose problems, repair and install new equipment.
Previous leadership experience is a major plus. This individual will start as a Senior Technician but as the company grows there will be opportunity for the individual to assume management responsibilities.

As we operate in the City of Seattle, there is a refrigeration license needed to work on systems that contain any refrigerants. The individual selected will need to be able to obtain that license if they do not have it already. That license requires an affidavit showing previous previous work in the trade and then an online test.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
