Lead Injection Molding Operator - Night Shift

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Lead Injection Molding Operator for the night shift at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Flowery Branch, United States. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing injection molding processes, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining a safe work environment.

• Lead and supervise the injection molding operations during the night shift, ensuring efficient and high-quality production
• Set up, operate, and maintain injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
• Pull and set molds from presses (IMM, IBM) and set up EOAT for robotics
• Conduct daily process verifications to ensure molds are running within set parameters
• Identify and resolve quality defects, taking appropriate corrective actions
• Respond to machine alarms and troubleshoot issues promptly
• Support material supply to presses as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing area
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and achieve production goals
• Train and mentor junior operators on best practices and safety procedures
• Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations
• Proactively engage in continuous improvement initiatives and support company policies

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in injection molding or injection blow molding processing
• Proven experience with IMM or IBM machines
• In-depth knowledge of various mold concepts (injection, injection blow, cold and hot runner systems, multi-plate molds, cores, slides, etc.)
• Experience or knowledge of scientific molding (preferred)
• Robotic experience (preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work a 12-hour night shift and perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy equipment
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in product knowledge and Standard Operating Procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptability to changing production needs and willingness to learn new technologies
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
