We are seeking a Lead Low Voltage Technician in Memphis, TN to support advanced system installations and integration projects. This full-time field position requires 5+ years of experience in low voltage systems installation and structured cabling work. The role is focused on delivering reliable technology solutions across Memphis, TN job sites, working closely with crews and customers to maintain high service quality.

The Lead Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for onsite system installation supervision, troubleshooting, and configuration of integrated communication and security systems. This position is ideal for a technically skilled professional who can manage field execution while maintaining project standards in Memphis, TN.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead installation of low voltage systems, including security equipment, networking infrastructure, and audiovisual integration across Memphis projects.
  • Supervise field technicians to ensure work follows project specifications, safety guidelines, and completion schedules.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and configuration of wiring, devices, and integrated technology systems.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to verify proper system setup, programming, and operational performance in Memphis, TN.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of wiring diagrams, testing results, and installation records.
  • Follow industry safety standards, local codes, and company policies during all field operations.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to junior technicians working onsite.
  • 5+ years of experience in low voltage system installation and integration.
  • Strong working knowledge of structured cabling, security systems, A/V technology, and networking equipment.
  • Preferred certifications such as BICSI, NICET, or manufacturer-specific training credentials.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical system issues.
  • Capability to manage multiple field installations and meet project deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for client and crew coordination.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, building standards, and technical codes in Memphis, TN.
